Iram Mirza is an interaction designer whose favorite design principle is error prevention. She has worked at companies like 23andMe, the personal genome service that won the TIME's Best Inventions of 2008 award, PayPal and Oracle.

In her spare time, Iram has freelanced at nGinE Designs - a company that delivers interactive digital content to museums and educational websites. Clients include the Tech Museum, the Children's Discovery Museum, and the Egyptian Museum in San Jose.

She enjoys hunting for travel bargains, collecting fabrics, and watching reruns of Arrested Development. She is secretly preparing for the DIY future, are you ready?
